That is the saddest story I heard in a long long time… All My Children and Guiding Light actor Nick Santino ‘s body was found in his bedroom by the police. He had overdosed on pills, the police also found a suicide note that explained the reason why he took his own life, in that note Nick said: “Today I betrayed my best friend and put down my best friend. Rocco trusted me and I failed him. He didn’t deserve this.”

After further investigations, the police found out that Nick put his best friend Rocco which is a pit bull that he had most of his life to sleep after being harassed by his neighbors for owning the dog. And according to the suicide note, Nick couldn’t move on after he betrayed his best friend so he decided to take his own life as a punishment for what he did to his dog.

I heard a lot about how dogs usually get depressed after losing their owners, and how they usually die right after their owners die because of sadness, but I never heard of a man that killed himself because of his dog. Even though some people might call this a crazy move, but I find it the best way to show how much he really loved and respected that creature… Rest In Peace Nick…
