“Physical power” is what few men see as a natural weapon easily pulled out when needed.  Wether it is an issue of female celebrities or ordinary women, the physical and emotional abuse of males-over-females has been rising like crazy. But what’s with the woman making amends with their abusers?

Yes, what made me write about this topic is the continuous news-headlines about a boyfriend punching, choking, and even murdering his girlfriends. Just almost a week ago we had to hear all about the tragedy of police finding Jasmine Fiore disfigured “her nails and teeth were pulled out!!” and wrapped in a garbage bag, this is what her husband found as an appropriate resting place for someone who chose him as a husband. Then we flash back to Rihanna and her black eye and swollen lip picture which leaked against all security measures to be a tangible evidence on the way chris brown preferred to used his “gym-shaped” muscles in working out a conversation that left him “pissed”. And again, Tila Tequila, the former reality TV Star had her own share just less than 24 hours ago by being choked..

But, it is by no means easier for less famous people to face physical abuse, but we only got to hear the details about those that include important and famnous women.

Dominiation, low-self esteem, feelings of stress, and past issues related to abuse are some of the common factors of what place all these woman in the circle of having to deal with bruises that ,although few, might end up with an attempt of either suicide or a threat of being killed. Luckily, some women end up testifying at court while others prefer to keep a low profile and live with it. But even if men think that their women are obedient enough, the saying “Kiss me and it’ll heal but I won’t forget” sounds much realistic.
