OK, I think that somebody should put a stop to this joke called PETA, seriously, I supported these people , and I still believe that some of the things they do are absolutely amazing, but messing with celebrities , and now towns in the United States of America for publicity, it is just wrong.
Get this, apparently the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), asked the people of Turkey, Texas to change the name of their town to , wait for it…. Tofurkey…
Yes, they want the name of the town to be changed to Tofurkey because : “Thanksgiving is murder on turkeys,” said PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “By changing its name to ‘Tofurky,’ Turkey would send a clear message that delicious, savory mock meat is an easy way to celebrate without causing suffering-and give a bird something to be thankful for.”
Well let’s hear what the people of Turkey had to say about this non-sense…

As a Peta supporter, i thought that it is important to share this video with you, this video which is narrated by Kate Winslet talks about the horrifying process and abuse Ducks and Geese go through when Foie Gras farms force feed them so that some people can enjoy what they call a delicacy, duck and geese liver which is called Foie Gras.. The video is not easy to watch, but please watch it and open your eyes, and if anybody you know enjoys this delicacy, just show them this video, we want this abuse to stop, animals don’t deserve this treatment.. Kelis received a harsh letter from Peta, about wearing fur and her meat eating diet… If you’re a member you’ll know that Peta sends emails to their members asking them to send emails to labs, universities to stop animal testing, they also ask the members to send emails to slaughter houses, McDonald’s, KFC and other places that are accused of being cruel to animals. This organization is doing so well with protecting animals and i support them 100%.. But i think that attacking individuals is a little bit uncalled for, i mean i know they mean well, but it’s just too much.. Kelis didn’t like what she read and decided to fight back with a letter… and here’s what she wrote:

Ok, so you’re gonna love this. The other day I got a personalized letter from PETA! Lol so after some thought I’ve decided to write one back. Goes a little something like this:
There is no humane way to kill anything, let me start there. It’s unfortunate but it’s part of life. With that being said, I would eat pterodactyl if you found some and you told me it was meaty and delicious. And after doing a very minimal amount of research……. I found out that the founder Ingrid Newkirk is completely batty. I had a feeling but she far exceeded my expectations. I mean certifiably insane! Lol this chicks will is nuts, google it – it’s a riot! Beyond the fact that I think she’s a diabetic, which means she needs insulin, which is taken from lab pigs (I know this because my sister happens to be in veterinary school), which would be completely hypocritical. It’s like don’t abuse animals unless it can help me.
I feel very strongly about a lot of things such as the sweatshops that spin cotton and the blood on their hands. Btw it’s not just the look of fur. It’s warm as hell and feels glorious, ever rubbed faux fur on your body? Nothing luxurious about that. Then the letter proceeded to name artist and designers who don’t wear real fur. Great! More for me! I don’t judge them, don’t judge me.
If I started wearing endangered animals like polar bear or orangutan then talk to me. (Which btw for the record I would not – I do believe in the preservation of endangered species) But the minks and chinchilla that quite honestly are rodents and if weren’t in the form of a coat I would demand they be put to death anyway are not an issue to me.

I eat meat, and in fact my mouth salivates as I type the word meat! And the paint throwing that’s just ridiculous! What if I was hurling Loubitons and Pierre Hardy’s at every sad poorly dressed person on the street? As right as I may be it’s just fanatical and crazy. And people have the right to feel as they please. What about art? Survival of the fittest. Natural selection? No let’s just let all the rodents run free and over take our cities. Oh wait they have, NY and LA in particular are infested! Why don’t u save them all from scavenging on the streets and ruining my evening strolls, take them home. Make them pets! Get off my back! Pun intended!
Underpaid minorities picking your vegetables, now that’s fine for you right? Please, fight for their rights. How about the poverty in the communities of brown people around the world. She had the nerve to say (and I quote) “get over it” talking of the issue of black people and slavery in this country verses cows being slaughtered. Is she kidding me? Lol yes she must be. Actually, she’s lucky most black people have real issues to worry about in the U.S and don’t give a crap what her delusional privileged opinions are. But she should try saying that again just for kicks n giggles on the corner of Adam Clayton Powell Blvd in Harlem n see how well people “get over it” lol.
If u want to preach do it about something worthwhile don’t waste my time trying to save the dang chipmunk.
Find a worthwhile cause like the women being maimed in these Middle Eastern countries. Or female circumcision. Or women’s rights here in America, we still get paid less for doing the same jobs as men. Quite honestly if you hate the world so much go live in the forest where no one else has to hear you complain about the perfectly good food chain the good Lord created. Everyone has the right to an opinion, and that’s mine on that! xoxo

Newkirk announced that Tv personalities Ellen Degeneres and Tim Gunn are Peta’s People of the Year 2009.. he said in his statement: “Tim Gunn and Ellen DeGeneres show us that one person really can make a difference in the world by rejecting cruel deeds in favor of compassionate acts. Their message that animals must be treated kindly and respectfully has reached scores of people, and many of them have changed their buying habits, all because Gunn and DeGeneres spoke up for the voiceless.”

Pamela Anderson was called for duty on Peta’s new SAVE THE SEALS campaign, we saw Perez Hilton posing in the same T-shirt, and now Pamela Anderson wants to participate in stopping the mass killing of baby seals in Canada.. We’re expecting more Peta Posters in this campaign, posters for Jayde Nicole, Tricia Helfer, and Kelly Osbourne wearing the exact same T-shirt in an attempt to bring more attention to this cause.. Anderson said: “I can only hope that by bringing attention to the slaughter, the international outcry will force the Canadian government to end this shameful practice. Canadians aren’t cruel and indifferent, but our leaders have been on this issue.”
Hopefully this thing will work because truely it is a shameful act..
Yeah that’s what we thought too when we heard the news, even the seals got a little bit worried. But it all went well, and Perez Hilton didn’t pose naked for Peta, and that’s always a good news..

Perez Hilton posed for Peta to help stopping Seal Slaughter in Canada, a cause that we all should support with all our power, because to be honest with you, Killing those seals in this brutal way, or any other way for fashion is really unnecessary, i totally understand people’s need for food, that is natural, but killing a living thing, so a woman or a man can wear a jacket?? i really don’t know how they do that.. Stop this act in any way you can, it’s a good cause, save the seals, and save any other animal from being MURDERED in the name of fashion…
Pamela Anderson worked the stage on Richie Rich AMUSE fashion show in Miami, but what most people didn’t understand is the evil Ronald McDonald mask she was holding in her hand.. well it seems that Pamela Anderson took advantage of the opportunity and showed the new PETA Evil Ronald Mcdonald mask, which represents the cruelty against animals that PETA keeps accusing Mcdonald’s with.. How about humans PETA?? seeing Pamela Anderson in the Baywatch swimming suit is cruelty against humans don’t you think.. BTW don’t get me wrong i’m a huge PETA supporter and i really respect everything they’re doing.. they’er amazing..
